The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes harvested from the one-hectare walled vineyard ‘Clos Lanson’ in the city of Reims. This plot is unique due to its location within the city and its specific microclimate, which contributes to the distinct character of the wine. On the nose, the 2009 vintage offers aromas of green apple, pear, citrus, and floral notes, accompanied by hints of brioche, toasted nuts, and minerality. The palate displays a lively acidity, fine bubbles, and flavors of ripe orchard fruits, lemon zest, and a touch of honey, with a long, elegant finish.
