Louis Latour Chassagne-Montrachet | Cote de Beaune 2023
The Chassagne-Montrachet 2023 has a bright, pale yellow color. The nose reveals notes of yellow peach and a hint of muscatel, while the ample, generous palate highlights aromas of fresh almond, apricot, and honey. Long, harmonious finish supported by mineral acidity.
100% Chardonnay, fermented in French oak barrels with traditional malolactic fermentation. Aged 8 to 10 months in Louis Latour cooperage barrels (15% new oak, medium toast).
Pair with seafood, fish, charcuterie, or goat cheese.
Maison Louis Latour, founded 1797 in Aloxe-Corton, is one of Burgundy's most historic négociant houses — now in its eighth generation. Chassagne-Montrachet in the southern Côte de Beaune is one of Burgundy's greatest white wine appellations, home to three Grands Crus including Le Montrachet.
