A blend of 95% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault that spent a year on the lees in a demi-muid and concrete egg, Pradeaux's 2020 Bandol Rosé Vespree is a special effort. Loaded with cherry fruit, it's even richer and rounder than the regular bottling, yet it retains a wonderful sense of freshness to balance the lush, almost-creamy mouthfeel and lingering finish. Future vintages will eschew the demi-muid in favor of concrete eggs.
