A very cool and decidedly restrained nose speaks mainly of essence of red berries, newly turned earth and similar hints of herbal tea and the sauvage. There is excellent intensity to the richer and slightly larger-bodied flavors that possess good power while displaying slightly better depth and persistence on the youthfully austere finale.
