Sebastián Zuccardi was raised in a household that valued innovation and vision. His grandfather began planting the first hectares of vines in Maipu, Mendoza, in 1963, and the Zuccardi family has continued to expand and advance ever since. It has risen to the top of the Argentine wine industry.
Sebastián Zuccardi received the drive and will to continually pursue perfection from his father, José Alberto Zuccardi.
Sebastián, a member of the family's third generation, is currently in command of a young group of agricultural engineers and enologists who are responsible for creating the best caliber wines in the Uco Valley.
Since 2008, the winery has had a research and development section thanks to his efforts, which is dedicated to researching the terroir and the various factors that influence wine quality. According to Sebastián, the objective is to "strive for wines that communicate the place, the region, rather than ideal wines."
