Torrontés is the emblematic white grape variety of the Calchaquie Valley in Cafayate and of Argentina. It is there, in the highlands of the northern Andes Cordillera, that it finds its best development, giving wines their famous aromas of rose and peach and their incomparable lively and crisp expression on the palate.
