The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Dürnstein, formerly labeled Frauenweingarten, was harvested in flat valley sites and fermented in stainless steel. Krutzler emphasizes that this was made from disparate batches of ripeness. A beautiful note of rain-wet soil sends freshness on the nose. Pepper only shimmers slightly. The palate is smooth and comes with a lot of equanimity on a smooth, rounded, fresh palate.
