A First Growth (Premier Grand Cru Classe A) of Saint-Emilion, Chateau Figeac is famed for its gravelly terroir and unusually high proportion of Cabernet in the blend. The 2021 shows graphite, plum, dark berries and dried flowers with firm, integrated tannins and a lightly chewy, serious finish built for the cellar. James Suckling 96 points.
