(65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc. Deep ruby red. The nose is profound and cool, with a fantastic fragrance of floral notes, cassis, blackberries, and a subtle hint of oak from barrel aging. The palate is spicy, fresh, clear, and pure like a mountain stream. The wine has excellent structure, displaying a lot of Cabernet character. This is once again pure precision, with the tannins being pronounced yet wonderfully woven together, and the acidity perfectly balanced. The finish is long, with red fruit and delicate spiciness.
