It has a Bordeaux-like nose of darker currants, lead pencil, damp earth, violets, and leafy tobacco. This carries to a medium to full-bodied, concentrated Cabernet with ultra-fine tannins, beautiful overall purity and balance, and enough structure and depth. It reminds me of a touch of Château Montrose in Saint-Estèphe.
