Domaine Taupenot-Merme Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru, Cote de Nuits, France 2020

The 2020 Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru is the elusive part of the & quot; nearly & quot; monopole and just around 200-odd bottles are made from its 400-odd square metres. It has a bewitching bouquet with rose petal scented bouquet, brambly red fruit and potpourri. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, taut and fresh with quite a structured, minerally finish. Very elegant and quite ethereal.
