This wine has an elegant and refined character as well as a light and fluid structure in the mouth. It is richly colored-crimson when young, and shading towards dark ruby with age. The bouquet has aromas of strawberry, cherry, cassis, and blueberry which evolve into cooked prune, pepper, and earthy notes.
