Domaine Taupenot-Merme Bel Air, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru, France 2018

From the only premier cru that borders Chambertin or Clos de Bèze. Nice density, silky fruit, mineral and cool and wonderful balance, with dancing acidity on the finish. There’s an explosion of juicy red fruit on the palate.
