Skull Wines is a collaboration between longtime friends Patrick Cappiello (Monte Rio Cellars) and Pax Mahle (famed Rhone Ranger). Patrick and Pax's philosophy is to make hand-crafted wines in the spirit of old California. With this idea in mind, they work with family-owned, organically farmed vineyards and keep the winemaking simple. This fun sparkling wine is fermented in a combination of stainless steel and old wood barrels after each grape was fermented separately.
