Pierre Gimonnet et Fils Blanc de Blancs Gastronome, Champagne, France 2018

The 2018 Champagne Cuvée Gastronome Brut has a bit sunnier feel, with primary fruit aromas of Williams pear, lime blossoms, candy, and green apple. The palate is full and rounded, with a coarser mineral texture throughout compared to the other cuvée. It has wonderful salinity and takes on a more savory expression that I find quite attractive.
