The Chianti Riserva consists of 100% Sangiovese. The 20-year-old vines grow on limestone soils in the Casanova vineyard, near Terricciola. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels in the second pass. Aging in French oak barrels for approximately 24 months. Refinement in bottle for about 6 months. Floral bouquet with notes of wild berries, violets and Mediterranean spices. Dry, harmonious and hearty on the palate, but velvety at the same time.
