An acceptably fresh and equally ripe nose is comprised by smoky and spicy aromas of earth, dark berries and floral top notes. There is excellent intensity to the muscular big-bodied flavors that exude a refreshing salinity on the sneaky long finish. While the nose could be fresher, there is good verve on the palate and I particularly like the texture.
