This is a lovely vineyard-driven Sancerre. Sourced from limestone-driven sites in the Bue, some clay, marl, and flint are in the vineyards. The vines are farmed organically, and yields are controlled with proper pruning and green harvesting. The wine is fermented in tank with indigenous yeasts and left on the fine lees until bottling. The wine possesses lovely aromas of orchard flowers, yellow and green fruits, gooseberry, liquid minerals, and wet hay. The palate has a beautiful lift and expression with tons of dry extract and a lovely salinity on the finish.
