Greppicante is the Bolgheri Rosso from Tenuta I Greppi on the Tuscan coast, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is fermented in stainless steel and aged in second- and third-use barriques, so the oak stays in the background.

Deep ruby, with blackberry, currant, rosemary and gentle spice, a full but elegant palate, ripe tannins and fresh acidity. A great-value introduction to Bolgheri; serve with grilled steak, lamb or roast pork. Explore more Tuscan wines.
