Bright ruby-red. Heady black raspberry, cherry cola, exotic spice and floral qualities on the mineral-tinged nose. Intense, appealingly sweet red and dark berry preserve, fruitcake, mocha and candied rose flavors slowly firm up through the back half. Shows excellent clarity and spicy thrust on a long, focused finish firmed by slowly building tannins.
