The organic La Torre 2020 Rosso di Montalcino (with 10,000 bottles made) is subtle and silky with light touches of cassis, dried cherry and sour plum. The wine is pretty and very fresh, with easy fruit to accompany a wood-oven pizza. There is a point of cherry sweetness on the close that adds a sense of good cheer.
