The Figli Luigi Oddero 2018 Barolo is thin and rather timid in terms of its intensity. This laidback approach is reflective of a vintage that produced understated wines overall across the appellation. Redcurrant, dried violet, spice and light shadings of licorice add some aromatic momentum on the bouquet, but again, this vintage holds back in the end. Drinking 2024 to 2035.
