A good introduction to the 2020 vintage in the Northern Rhone. Open nose of forest berries with hints of smoke and black pepper. Gentle tannin structure and fresh acidity give this a playful feel. Slightly sappy finish, but there’s enough red-fruit character to carry this. Drink or hold.
