A dense wine with a supple palate and velvety texture, it’s not yet very expressive but shows great promise. Figs, dates and raisins with a touch of savoury grassy notes are in balance. The wine has structure and fine tannins and should open nicely. The Valdrinal Winery farms 25 hectares of vineyards around the town of Aranda de Duero. Grapes were harvested by hand and then sorted on a selection table before undergoing a cold maceration. After fermentation, Valdrinal was matured in French oak.
