The Fuligni Estate spreads over approximately 250 fully cultivated acres of land in an almost continual strip on the eastern side of Montalcino where historically the most authentic production of Brunello emerged. The Brunello is refined two and a half years (sometimes three) in wood followed by bottle aging. It has the characteristics of a long-lived wine but unlike the Riserva, it is ready to drink. An elegant fusion of fruit and spices, this Brunello is made from a careful selection of prestigious low yielding grapes. Deep garnet in color with orange hues, the bouquet shows red fruit and spice, confirmed on the palate with soft tannins, firm structure, and silky texture.
