The 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva, 100% Sangiovese, is a dense, powerful wine. Black cherry, leather, licorice, intense chocolate and menthol are dialed up. This is an especially rich, concentrated style, and this is a good bit of oak, but it all works so well together.
