Vermentino
The wine world can be confusing, and it's not uncommon for grape varieties to have multiple names. One such example is the white wine variety known as vermentino in Italy and rolle in the South of France. This grape is particularly popular in seaside regions. In Italy, vermentino is mainly grown on the islands of Sardinia and Corsica, as well as in Liguria, where it can produce wines that range from fruity and floral to richer and more complex styles.
