Bright ruby-colored, the 2020 Brunello Di Montalcino Vigna Del Lago lifts to a fantastic mineral-noted nose with notes of graphite, red raspberries, red berries, roses, and fresh herbs. Medium-bodied, it's very elegant and graceful, with ultra-fine tannins, even acidity, and a clean, silky finish. It retains lovely ripe, pure fruit throughout and has a relatively linear feel without ever lacking ripeness. This is a gorgeous wine to enjoy over the coming 15 or more years.
