Good crimson. Rich with hints of oak and nice subtle fruit. Silky, rich, lovely texture. Tastes much grander than it is. The Gevrey Chambertin wine has high colour, is intensively aromatic, evoking blackberries and other small red and black fruits. A well built wine, combining blending tannins with abundant mellowness. The grapes come from the vineyards from the village of Gevrey-Chambertin in the north of the Côte de Nuits. Soil : clay and limestone. Medium slope. 100% Pinot Noir.
