Dense aromas of blackberry and boysenberry entwine with lovely expressions of violet, sweet marjoram, cinder and forest floor.  With time in the mouth, the fruit acquires an opulent expression of ripe plum that is enhanced by classic syrah notes of black pepper, dried flowers and subtle smoke.  The supple tannins build gradually to create a seamless, full-bodied wine experience.  Achieving this balance of fruit with savory freshness and power with elegance is what we strive for with our Syrah and speaks to the quality of our 2023 grapes.
