2024 | Cliff Lede Vineyards Chardonnay | Napa Valley

From the 352-hectare High Fidelity Vineyard in Carneros, planted to Wente, Hyde, Robert Young, and Mt. Eden clones, this Chardonnay is fermented in 85% new French oak, entirely cold-fermented, and aged on the lees with occasional bâtonnage. It’s a nervy, lively, and fresh wine, showing ripe orchard fruit alongside citrus oil, lemon zest, and wildflower notes. Subtle, elegant toast—reminiscent of French pastry—mingles with oyster-shell minerality, fuelling a focused, crisp, mouth-watering finish. A superb food-pairing Chardonnay, given its tension and zesty acidity.
