Domaine Albert Mann is one of Alsace's greatest estates — biodynamic since 1997, and rated at the top by France's leading guides. "Clos de la Faille" is its treasure: a barely one-hectare monopole at Wintzenheim, alongside Grand Cru Hengst, sitting on a geological fault where Vosges sandstone meets iron-rich red limestone, quartz and Muschelkalk pebbles. Planted in 1998, hand-harvested, native-yeast fermented and aged 12–17 months in Burgundian barrels with very little new oak — widely considered one of the very best Pinot Noirs in Alsace.

An Albert Mann Clos de la Faille is Alsace Pinot Noir at the very top. Great biodynamic estate, one-hectare monopole, native yeast → taut, structured, spiced → you're drinking serious Alsace red.

Ripe black cherry, pomegranate and red berries over peony, fine spice and a stony, ferrous minerality with suave, polished tannins, mature elongated acidity and a delicately saline finish. Translation: a taut, structured Alsace Pinot — bright red and dark fruit with floral and mineral lift over polished tannins. Precise and saline; a Pinot that rivals good Burgundy.
