An old-vine Santenay 1er Cru from a six-generation family estate — pure, elegant red Burgundy.
Domaine Bachey-Legros farms old vines (planted 1914–1955) around Santenay-le-Haut, six generations deep, working traditionally and without chemicals. "Clos Rousseau" is among Santenay's most esteemed 1er Cru sites: limestone-rich soils giving Pinot Noir of freshness, minerality and structure. Elegant, transparent, and built to age a decade.
An old-vine Santenay 1er Cru is smart, characterful red Burgundy. Six generations, old vines, limestone 1er Cru → elegant, mineral, structured → you're drinking terroir-driven Pinot Noir.

Morello cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant over rose petal, forest floor and a hint of black pepper with fine-grained tannins, bright acidity and a long, pure finish. Translation: an elegant, structured red Burgundy — red and dark fruit with floral and earthy lift over silky tannins and fresh acidity. Pure and ageworthy; classic Santenay finesse.
A 1er Cru red Burgundy. Exactly the bottle for guinea fowl, braised beef, duck, or soft washed-rind cheese.
