An old-vine Morgon — serious, structured cru Beaujolais built to age like a little Burgundy.

Daniel Bouland is one of the great growers of Morgon, the powerful Beaujolais cru famed for its granite and blue-stone soils. "Bellevue Cailloux" comes from old Gamay vines on the celebrated Côte du Py side of the appellation: deep, structured, mineral cru Beaujolais that drinks like serious wine and ages gracefully.

An old-vine Morgon is cru Beaujolais at its most serious. Top Morgon grower, old-vine Gamay, granite soils → deep, structured, mineral → you're drinking ageworthy cru Beaujolais.

Black cherry, blackberry and plum over crushed stone, violet and pepper with firm, fine tannins, bright acidity and a long, mineral finish. Translation: a deep, structured Morgon — dark fruit with stony minerality, floral lift and pepper on firm tannins. Serious and ageworthy; Gamay at its most Burgundian.

An old-vine cru Beaujolais. Exactly the bottle for roast pork, duck, charcuterie, or mushroom dishes.
