Color: Between ruby and garnet to the advantage of the latter with ageing, it is particularly lively, consistent and of medium transparency.
Nose: Intense, rich, multifaceted, fresh fruit dominates and in this phase the Barbera gives the right contribution: blackberry jam, licorice, dried violet, black cherry, the incessant mineral-balsamic axis, which refers to sensations of undergrowth combined with menthol puffs. A nose capable of progressively evolving almost an hour after pouring, a lively, iridescent breath, just as a great wine should always be.
Palate: Warm and accomplished due to a particularly generous vintage from every point of view, it has good balance, structure and power, it reveals qualities of freshness and sapidity that strongly recall the terroir of origin, unique in its kind. Depth of taste, great potential for ageing.
