A benchmark dry white Graves — Sauvignon-Sémillon from the late Denis Dubourdieu, the "pope of white Bordeaux."

Clos Floridène is the personal estate of the late Denis Dubourdieu — the legendary oenologist known as the pope of white Bordeaux — in the Graves. Its white blends Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon on clay-limestone soils for a pure, aromatic, ageworthy dry white that helped define the modern style.

A Dubourdieu white Graves is dry white Bordeaux at its most benchmark. Dubourdieu estate, Sauvignon-Sémillon, Graves → pure, aromatic, ageworthy → you're drinking reference-point white Bordeaux.

  • Sauvignon Blanc · Sémillon
  • Graves — Bordeaux, France
  • Clos Floridène — Denis Dubourdieu
  • Clay-limestone terroir

Citrus, white peach and boxwood over a subtle waxy, mineral texture with bright acidity and a long, saline finish. Translation: a pure, aromatic dry white Bordeaux — citrus and orchard fruit with a hint of waxy Sémillon texture over a mineral, saline frame. Fresh now, with the structure to age.

A benchmark white Graves. Exactly the bottle for oysters, grilled fish, or poultry in cream.
