The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Especial Cordillera de Los Andes hails from Puente Alto, Maipo. It spent 18 months mostly in barrels and a third in new foudres. The precise aromatic profile presents hints of redcurrant, mint and blueberry over a faint layer of cigar box. Dry and vibrant in the mouth, the finely grained tannins and crystal-clear fruit flavors make for a long-lasting, vivid palate. A balanced wine given the warm year.
