The 2021 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru shows a little reduction on the nose but it opens nicely with red plum and raspberry fruit loam and undergrowth scents percolating through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit gentle grip and a fine bead of acidity; a judicious touch of pepper appears towards the finish. There is an abiding sense of harmony here.
