The 2022 Ladoix Blanc Le Clos Royer was matured in barrel with 20% new oak and had already been bottled. It has more aromatic intensity than the Ladoix Village, with light beeswax and cooking apple scents. The palate is well-balanced with a lightly spiced entry, fresh and saline, with more grip on the finish. Fine.
