"Good medium red color. Cherry and redcurrant aromas are complicated by mineral, smoke and licorice notes. Wonderfully sweet and dense in the mouth, with harmonious ripe acidity framing the very pure red berry, mineral and spice flavors; really dances on the palate. This captivating vin de terroir finishes with terrific definition, noble tannins and superb energy and length. In theory, a vintage like '14 should favor Chapelle-Chambertin over this cooler site, but nobody mentioned that to this wine."
