About This Wine

"Amarne" is Famiglia De Cerchio's Family Selection Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, drawn from a rigorous selection of the best grapes on the Idi di Marzo estate in Villamagna — an expression of the family's love for viticulture stretching back to 1910.

Intense ruby with garnet reflections. The nose is full-bodied, with wild berries and blackberry jam accented by tobacco, coffee, crushed violets and cocoa powder. Complex, soft and rounded on the palate, well-balanced and persistent, with firm but polished tannins and a long finish revealing chocolate and black pepper.
