Rich, dried-grape Amarone from the Valpantena — Corvina-based, barrique-aged, layered and warming.

Giuliano Rosati's Amarone della Valpolicella is made by a family winery in the Valpantena, in classic Amarone style: predominantly Corvina with Rondinella, the grapes air-dried (appassimento) into raisins before pressing, then aged around two years in French barrique. The result is a rich, dry, complex red with real depth.

A barrique-aged Amarone at a fair price is one of Italy's great cold-weather pours. Corvina-based, appassimento-dried, barrique-aged → syrupy-rich but dry and structured → you're drinking classic Amarone.

  • ~90% Corvina, 10% Rondinella
  • Amarone della Valpolicella — Veneto, Italy
  • Giuliano Rosati — Valpantena family winery
  • Appassimento-dried · ~2 years French barrique

Wild cherry, plum preserve and dried rose over cocoa, leather, coffee and sweet smoke with supple tannins and a rich, warming finish. Translation: a bold, layered Amarone — dried-fruit richness and savory smoke-and-leather depth balanced by supple tannins. Powerful but not heavy, made for the table and cold nights.

A rich, barrique-aged Amarone that over-delivers. Exactly the bottle for braised meats, hard cheese, or a fireside evening.
