The rarest handle in the Laguiole en Aubrac range. The Nougatine sets fragments of fossilized mammoth tusk into deep black ebony — material tens of thousands of years old, worked by a single artisan cutler in Espalion, France, from first assembly to final polish.
Named for its resemblance to the French confection, each Nougatine handle is strictly one of one: the tusk fragments fall where they fall, and no two pieces can ever match.
