2021 | Matías Riccitelli Riccitelli & Father | Mendoza | Argentina
A father-son collaboration in a bottle — old-vine Malbec meets mountain Cabernet Franc from a Mendoza star.
Matías Riccitelli founded his boutique winery in 2009 in Las Compuertas, the highest part of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. "Riccitelli & Father" is his collaboration with his father and mentor Jorge Riccitelli — the first Latin American named Wine Enthusiast's Winemaker of the Year — blending old-vine Malbec with the vivid Cabernet Franc that thrives in their high-altitude mountain soils.
A father-son blend from two of Argentina's great names is a wine with real soul. Old-vine Malbec + mountain Cab Franc, high-altitude, native-yeast → a generational collaboration → you're drinking serious Mendoza terroir.
