About This Wine
Monte Santoccio Recioto is a dessert wine from Recioto della Valpolicella, Italy, made by Azienda Agricola Monte Santoccio. It is offered in the 2013 vintage. Available by the bottle.
The reds of Valpolicella are blended from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. Corvina leads, giving sour cherry and a bitter almond finish, and drying the grapes before pressing turns the same blend into Amarone.
