About This Wine

Part of Pérez Cruz's Limited Edition line, this Cabernet Franc comes from estate vines planted in 2009 on the alluvial and colluvial soils of the Liguai estate in Huelquén, Alto Maipo. A long maceration and aging in French oak (with some concrete) yield an aromatic, elegant wine with roughly 95% Cabernet Franc rounded out by Petit Verdot.

Medium-deep ruby in the glass. The nose leads with fresh red fruits rather than oak, layered with the variety's signature tobacco and herb notes, mint and a mineral edge. Silky and juicy on the palate, powerful yet elegant, with fine tannins and a refreshing acidity that carries a long, savory finish.
