About This Wine

Ribera del Cuarzo's Clásico is Malbec-led, drawn from very old vineyards — some around 80 years old — on the deep clay soils of the northern bank of the Río Negro in Patagonia, rounded out with a little Merlot. A fresh, high-latitude expression far from the Mendoza mainstream.

A fruity, fresh nose with good depth — dark plums, black cherries, wild berries and graphite, with a dash of herbs and baking spice. Medium-bodied, polished and sleek, with delicious acidity, crunchy red-fruit character and fine, silky tannins.

A Malbec blend from Río Negro, Patagonia, Argentina.
