Château Rieussec guards the entrance to Sauternes and has been owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild since 1984. As early as 1868 it was said that "beyond any of the others, Rieussec produces wines very similar to Yquem" — and in vintages like 2021 that comparison earns its keep.
