At sight it shows an intense ruby red color, with some slight orange reflections. The nose is deep, with enveloping aromas of ripe red fruit, tobacco, leather, balsamic herbs and pepper. On the palate it is austere, structured, rich, with excellent acidity and a great tannic grip. It closes with a very long finish.
