Grapes sourced (“foraged”) from two vineyards about 4 miles from the Pacific. A combo of French oak and stainless steel yields a wine that is crisp and clean at first: smell and taste green apple, fresh lemon wedge and steely minerality; followed closely behind by just a bit of buttery richness: brioche, lemon custard and a hint of vanilla. Acidic edge is tamed by textural creaminess. We think it’s a lovely “bridge” between the two styles.
